Our mission is to provide children the best care and education possible. We provide a safe, caring, and stimulating learning environment where we structure our curricu lum around four key elements of social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development to ensure the growth of the whole child. Our expert care and comprehensive curriculum will give our children the co nfidence to become successful, life-long learners.
The merits of our school are:

● Age/level-appropriate classes follow academic targets and month ly themes in a full year comprehensive curriculum.
● Many hands-on activities and games included in our academic cur riculum which all children will enjoy and be eager to learn.
● Guidance and coaching discipline and manners during life at sch ool.
● No Japanese in the classroom. An English-only environment promo tes usage and language development.

Children who are apart from their mothers for the first time wil l receive plenty of individual, warm attention and care from the teachers helping them to adjust to their new environment and routines at school. Through Zoo-phonics, children develop their phonemic awareness of the 26 letters of the alphabet, which in turn helps them to build a solid foundation for their future reading and spelling skills. We also introduce math concepts including numbers, shapes, and sorting. In Learning Centers connected to monthly themes, children participate in ha nds-on activities and interact with other children while developing th eir social skills, such as cooperation, sharing and taking turns. The Song and movement is also a large part of the program and its benefits are indispensable to children of this age. Children at this age rap idly build language, motor, and social skills.

At this age children are ready to take on more responsibility, can accept the basics of social play and complete much more complex tasks. A two-year comprehensive academic curriculum is built upon the core areas of language arts, math, science, social studies, music, arts and physical education. Children also continue to expand their knowledge in a variety of topics through monthly thematic learning centers while increasing their ability to discuss these topics in English. While learning advanced phonics patterns with the Zoo-phonics’ method, children will start working on literacy with our Home-Reader program. Children will continue to develop their reading comprehension and vocabulary through books, writing journals, and learning center activities which is equivalent to the U.S. first grade program. During math studies, children will rapidly build their comprehension of large numbers, number operations, geometry, measurements, and more.
